Terms of service provision

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Embassy of Russia) has concluded an agreement with Interlink Service LLC for the provision of services for the reception and processing of visa applications to Russia from citizens of Slovakia and other countries wishing to visit Russia (hereinafter referred to as applicants), and return of passports after consideration of the visa applications by the Embassy of Russia.

Interlink Service LLC has appointed its subsidiary Interlink Service Slovakia s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as Interlink Service Slovakia) as a provider of these services in Slovakia.

Thus, the Russian Visa Center in Slovakia is a complex of services for receiving, processing applications for visas to Russia and return of documents after consideration by the Embassy of Russia, provided by Interlink Service Slovakia on behalf of the Embassy of Russia.

Interlink Service Slovakia provides services and is responsible only for the following functions:

  • to accept from the applicant a passport, a completed visa application form, accompanying documents (hereinafter referred to as documents) and the corresponding consular fee;
  • transfer the documents and the consular fee to the Embassy of Russia on behalf of the applicant;
  • after the Embassy of Russia has reviewed the documents, obtain the applicant's passport and other documents from the Embassy of Russia and return passport to the applicant or his representative or send it to the applicant by mail or courier service to the address specified by the applicant.

In certain cases, despite the procedure described above, the Embassy of Russia can transfer the relevant documents directly to the applicant, bypassing the visa center.

Interlink Service Slovakia informs applicants about the following:

Payment of the consular fee by the applicant does not automatically entail the acquisition of the right to obtain a visa.

The decision to issue a visa or to refuse to issue a visa is in the exclusive competence of the Embassy of Russia.

Interlink Service Slovakia and its employees have no influence on the process, timing and outcome of the application.

The period of consideration of the visa application by the Embassy of Russia is from 4 to 20 working days. In some cases, this period may be shortened or extended. During this period, the applicant's passport will be kept at the Embassy of Russia.

The Embassy of Russia has the right to request any additional documents from the applicant, invite the applicant for an interview, and also refuse to issue a visa.

Incorrect filling in or falsification of visa documents, as well as the provision of an incomplete set of documents may result in the refusal of the Embassy of Russia to issue a visa.

In connection with this, Interlink Service Slovakia and its employees cannot under any circumstances guarantee that a visa is ready for a certain period or that a visa is issued to the applicant.

Regardless of the outcome of the examination of the visa application, as well as in case of refusal/withdrawal by the applicant of his application, the consular and service fees received by Interlink Service Slovakia from the applicant or his representative are not reimbursable.

Interlink Service Slovakia is not liable to the applicant for the loss of the applicant's documents, which occurred as a result of an accident, illegal actions of third parties, natural disasters (cases of force majeure), as well as for other reasons that Interlink Service Slovakia could not foresee and/or could not influence.
